About ICE

ICE (Internship in Customer Engagement) is a purely campus driven initiative by TMI First. Under the ICE programme, TMI First offers exclusive tie-up rights to select campus entities, especially large educational groups with multiple disciplines and multi locational presence. We will provide part time employment opportunities to students of partner campuses with some of the leading brands in the country. The nature of assignments will depend on our business partners and the campuses reserve the right to opt for assignments for their students.

Expectations from the Campus

This initiative will work on the traditional staffing model. Selected students will be on rolls of TMI Group and the law of the land will govern their employment. TMI First would like partner campuses to make special provisions for students enrolled under this programme. The provisions should be aimed at ensuring business continuity and curtailing unplanned absenteeism.

TMIF also expects campuses to make judicious use of this opportunity among their students. Our aim is to provide such opportunities to the needy among the available student pool.

Also, from the point of view of business continuity, selected applicants should ideally be from various disciplines to avoid mass absenteeism during examinations.

Current Clients

To begin with, TMI First has tied up Nokia India to provide manpower to its various dealer outlets during peak load hours.

1.Permanent Flexi Promoters( Part Time ) : Any Graduates interested in sales job.

2.Team leads :M.B.A or Grads with sales experience.

Work Timings

Permanent Flexi Promoters:
4.5 hours a day, 6 days a week ( During the second half of the day only)

Team Leads:
Work hours will start post noon but they may have to stretch if the work demands.

  • MAT - Mobile Aptitude test
  • Personal Interview with Nokia Pannel

Compensation

Compensation will depend on individual assignments. TMI First will pitch for rational and realistic compensation at all times.

Training

- Soft Skills Training: 2 Full Days
- Product and Technology Training: 2 Full Days
- Operational Training:½ Day
- On-The-Job-Training:6 Days
- Fit-To-Deploy Assessment:1 Day

  • . . Candidates who are selected will have to clear all of the above before they are permanently deployed
  • Once permanently deployed, they will have atleast one training day per month
  • Before applying for Nokia positions, applicants are requested to liaise with campuses and get sanction for absenting on training days ( as above).

Duration of Employment

The duration of employment is based on various assignments with clients and your academic tenure.

Note to Students before applying :

  • Punctuality and Corporate Ethics have to be followed
  • Campuses should allow absence during training days   
  • Attendance will be sent to campuses
  • You should report to work on all assigned days
  • Be a fast learner, clear all training interventions, initial and periodic
  • You will not be treated as a student, but as a professional
  • Final deployment stores may not be very conveniently located.
  • You may swap stores with consent from respective TLs where possible.
  • You are requested to b e polite and professional
