The Engineers Game:

Engineers make a world of difference. Many students pursuing engineering degrees need to have technical as well as behavioural competencies in their fields that are required to acquire a job. In this context TMI First has developed a unique simulation-training program for the First & Second year students of Engineering keeping in view their requirements. As part of the training program students undergo a simulation game called “The Engineering Game”, which will allow a student to work on various technical projects of their choice, in which he displays certain set of behaviours and displays some skills unconsciously. The program requires that the participants be divided into teams. Each team will be developing a project.

This simulated environment helps students to learn and understand the real time situations which they have to encounter in their future career. Throughout the training program, proper debriefing will be done that will explain the following factors.

  • What Happened
  • Why it has Happened
  • How it has Happened
  • What best could have happened

Student ’s Participation During the Program

  • Develop the Business Plan
  • Competitive analysis
  • Feasibility analysis
  • Cost statements
  • Develop Marketing Strategies
  • Pricing strategy
  • Strategies to attract investors
  • Make presentations in front of Panellists

Learning Outcomes

  • Exposure to projects
  • Develop and refer fundamental engineering concepts and other relevant knowledge to develop projects
  • Deploy technical and conceptual usage & know how in implementing real time projects
  • How to present and sell the project concept to the stakeholders
  • How to negotiate and bid for the projects

This team with the best project and maximum points from the panelists will be awarded with an “Engineering Trophy”
